Big Loud Records’ MacKenzie Porter showcases the acoustic side of her artistry in a brand-new live performance video for fan-favorite song, “These Days,” out now.
Shot at her Nashville, TN, home and brought to life by director Morgan Sweat, the clip puts Porter’s “impressive vocal chops” (Calgary Herald) on full display, seamlessly jumping from the subtleties of each verse to the tune’s soaring, anthemic chorus, affirming why Whiskey Riff is “instantly obsessed.”
This week, “These Days,” claimed the #1 spot atop the Canadian Country radio charts, making Porter the first Canadian female artist to score two consecutive Country #1s since Shania Twain, 22 years ago. The three-time CCMA Female Artist of the Year nominee co-wrote the summiting tune with mainstay collaborators Jordan Sapp and Parker Welling, crafting a reminiscent modern Country toe-tapper that adds to her acclaimed repertoire.
On tap, Porter will join Chris Lane’s BIG, BIG PLANS TOUR starting January 9 in Philadelphia, PA, and continuing the nationwide run through the end of February. In between tour stops, she’ll be in the studio working with producer Joey Moi on more music due out in 2020.
