ICYMI: COUNTRY HITMAKER MAKES CAMEO APPEARANCE ON CBS’ MARSHALS

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today, Country hitmaker Ashley Cooke is releasing the ace sessions via all digital streaming platforms. The stripped-back six-song project marks the audio companion to an all-acoustic performance she shared on YouTube last week as a special surprise for fans. Go here to listen to the ace sessions now, and watch “the ace sessions” here.
A perfect canvas for Cooke’s captivating vocals and confessional storytelling, the ace sessions includes six tracks from the Florida-born singer/songwriter’s 2025 project ace — a nine-song release that delivered her most emotionally intimate work to date, quickly winning praise from outlets like Country Swag (who noted that her “emotion-rich vocals shine as she unpacks heartbreak, vulnerability, and self-reflection”). With its standouts including stark yet stunning renditions of beloved songs like “the hell you are” (a recent hit at Country radio), the ace sessions also features the never-before-heard “olive juice” (a sweetly quirky, harmony-laced serenade inspired by a classic childhood lip-reading trick).
Another song reimagined for the ace sessions, Cooke’s longtime fan favorite “baby blues” shot to the No. 1 spot last week on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown. In its lighthearted ode to irresistible attraction, the soulful and smoldering track tells the tale of a couple whose plans for a night out are repeatedly derailed by their undeniable spark.
In case you missed it, Cooke made a cameo appearance on last Sunday’s episode of CBS’ Marshals — the newly launched spinoff of the blockbuster Western saga Yellowstone. Set in a bar scene, Cooke’s cameo centered on an acoustic performance of her solo-penned ballad “next to you” (a cut from her critically lauded 2023 debut album shot in the dark, which also features her GOLD-certified hits “never til now” and “your place”). The scene immediately drew raves from the likes of Holler, who stated that “we can’t wait to see what else the fast-emerging country chart-topper has up her sleeve for 2026.” Check out a clip of Cooke’s Marshals cameo here.
This weekend, Cooke is making her highly anticipated return to C2C: Country to Country 2026, performing at C2C in Belfast tonight (3/13) and Glasgow tomorrow (3/14), then heading to London for a C2C performance at The O2 on Sunday (3/15). After returning to the U.S., she’ll continue her recent run as support for MULTI-PLATINUM powerhouse Jon Pardi‘s HONKYTONK HOLLYWOOD TOUR, taking the stage at Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, LA (3/20), the CAJUNDOME in Lafayette, LA (3/21), Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, SC (3/26), and Appalachian Wireless Arena in Pikeville, KY (3/27). Later this spring, Cooke will make her debut appearance at Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale on April 10, joining a star-packed lineup including Post Malone, Riley Green, Kenny Chesney, and more. ABOUT ASHLEY COOKE
One of Country’s most magnetic young storytellers, Ashley Cooke made her unforgettable debut with 2023’s shot in the dark and soon scored her first Country radio No. 1 with “your place” — a GOLD-certified, Billboard Hot 100-charting hit that later won a 2024 CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year. With a voice that carries both tenderness and quiet confidence, she’s since garnered nominations for New Female Artist of the Year at the ACM Awards and Best New Country Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. While building up an acclaimed body of work including 2025’s ace — a nine-song project featuring her Country radio smash “the hell you are” and longtime fan favorite “baby blues” (a No. 1 hit on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown) — Cooke has collaborated with major artists ranging from Pop superstar Joe Jonas (“all I forgot”) to Country hitmaker Brantley Gilbert (“Over When We’re Sober”). Known for her emotionally charged and high-energy live show, she’s also toured with heavy-hitters like Luke Bryan, Parker McCollum, and Kane Brown and recently hit the road as support for Jon Pardi’s HONKYTONK HOLLYWOOD TOUR. As her profile continues to rise, Cooke made a cameo appearance in March on CBS’ Marshals (the newly launched spinoff of the blockbuster Western saga Yellowstone), just before heading overseas for C2C: Country to Country 2026 (including a performance at the iconic O2 Arena in London). With her sophomore album due out later this year, she’s now gearing up to take the stage at leading festivals like Tortuga Music Festival (4/10 in Fort Lauderdale, FL) and Hoofbeat (6/27 in Cadott, WI).
