JILLIAN JACQUELINE BRINGS DEBUT SINGLE “REASONS” TO LIFE WITH OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO WORLD PREMIERING ON REFINERY29 TODAY

JILLIAN JACQUELINE’s debut single “Reasons” colorfully comes to life today (1/12), with the official music video making its world premiere on Refinery29 as part of the platform’s “The Drop” series which shines a spotlight on women artists. The video will also be available across Vevo beginning at 12:00 p.m. CT today and will go into rotation on CMT Wednesday (1/17).
“I wanted the video to be an extension of the song and also give new life to it and make it feel a little bit tongue-in-cheek and like we’re playing with it a little bit,” she tells Refinery29 exclusively. “Because in hindsight, looking at it now, I realize there can be a sense of humor in realizing that you’re tiptoeing around the truth with someone and turning into roommates.”
Directed by Patrick Tracy and Jacqueline, the video features vintage-hued vignettes playing out the narrative of the raw, relatable lyrics. Starring as herself in the clip, the up-and-coming artist stuns in her signature retro style.

This Monday (1/15) Jacqueline will make her late night television debut, performing “Reasons” on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers. Written by Jacqueline, Tofer Brown and Sarah Buxton, the melodic confession will make its way to Country radio airwaves on January 22.
Starting the year on a high note in Park City, UT at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, Jacqueline will be part of the special “CMA Songwriters Series” lineup at the Sundance ASCAP Music Café. Beginning next month she will join fellow rising Country star Jordan Davis on the WHITE WINE AND WHISKEY TOUR. Kicking off February 2 in West Peoria, IL, she will accompany Davis for nearly a dozen shows before hitting the road with both Thomas Rhett and Brett Eldredge in April.
Quickly becoming one of Nashville’s most exciting new acts, Jacqueline has been named the first-ever Country artist on Vevo’s prestigious dscvr Artists To Watch list. The bold songstress has been recognized by CMT as one of the network’s Next Women of Country and Listen Up “18 for 2018,” while also earning acclaim from PandoraAmazon MusicRolling StoneAXS and countless others on their respective rundowns of emerging talent.
