BUZZED-ABOUT JOINT VENTURE ADDS SEASONED TEXAS MUSIC VETERAN TO HEAD OPERATIONS ON THE GROUND IN AUSTIN
AUSTIN, TEXAS – Big Loud Texas announces today Brendon Anthony as Vice President of the imprint, effective immediately. Based in Austin, Anthony will oversee the Texas operation across label functions, working hand in hand with Big Loud Texas’ co-founders Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall, as well as key members of the Big Loud Records team.
“I am very proud to join the amazing team at Big Loud and look forward to working with Miranda and Jon to create something truly special in Big Loud Texas,” Anthony says. “Being a part of growing and supporting the Texas music industry has been my focus for over 25 years and I am thrilled to continue that effort by joining Big Loud Texas.”

Brendon Anthony most recently served as Director of the Texas Music Office, the agency within the Office of the Governor tasked with overseeing policy related to the Texas commercial music industry. In his role, Anthony helped music industry partners navigate their entry into the Texas market, and set the agenda for business development within the music sector statewide. Anthony served as the link between the Governor’s Economic Development & Tourism’s executive staff, private sector music industry businesses, and non-governmental music organizations and trade associations.
During his tenure as Director, Anthony created the Music Friendly Texas Communities program in 2016, a first-of-its kind organization which today helps connect over 60 markets throughout the state and establishes best practices for economic development and support of local music industry stakeholders by fostering connections between higher education, non-profit partners, and real-world business opportunities. Anthony was instrumental in the creation of BMI Texas (2019) and the Texas Music Incubator rebate program which supports music venues in Texas with over $20 million in tax rebates.
Before his tenure with the Texas Music Office, Anthony served as Head of E-Commerce and Artist Relations for ONELIVE Media, a direct-to-fan e-commerce partner for global brands, managing relationships with artists like Beyoncé, Willie Nelson, Mötley Crue, and more.
Additionally, Brendon is a longtime touring and recording musician who understands firsthand the deep connection between Texas and Nashville.

Announced in November, Big Loud Texas is an imprint by artists for artists established out of respect for the culture of Texas music, that aims to expand upon its legacy, and bring Texas music to the world.
