ABOUT ASHLEY COOKE:
With Big Loud / Back Blocks Music country artist Ashley Cooke, it’s best to know what you’re getting into – because this emerging star is the definition of more than meets the eye. A graceful exterior matched by a casual-cool nature. Skillfully crafted lyrics and a knack for unforgettable performance. Effortless vocal beauty and a bold sense of internal grit, freely mixing it up with the boys while she rallies the girls. And most important, a passion for capturing the magic between heartbeats, each moment as unique as she is. Still early in her journey, being herself has already served Cooke well. It has led to over 200M global streams with chart climbing hits like “Never Til Now” with Brett Young, Ryman and Grand Ole Opry debuts, national TV appearances on ABC’s “The Bachelorette,” tours with Cole Swindell, Luke Bryan and more.
Hailing from Parkland, Fla. and moved by emotional hit makers like Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson and more, Cooke embraces the energy of pop and depth of country, writing her first song by age 11. Cooke moved to Nashville at 18 and attended the prestigious Belmont University – but unlike so many others, she did not study music. After entering the schools revered Country Showcase on a whim and winning, Cooke decided to pursue music for a year. When the pandemic had other plans, Cooke went to TikTok where she built a thriving fanbase, writing and sharing country music on her own terms.
And now, on July 21, the next chapter begins with her debut album shot in the dark. Unfolding as if they were ripped from pages of her personal journal, Cooke’s sun-kissed blend of two-lane pop country is on full display in the collection’s 24 tracks, inspired by true tales of love, heartbreak and all the moments in between. Fully capturing the essence of a daring twenty-something growing up, chasing her dreams and taking risks, Cooke infuses heartfelt lyrics, captivating melodies and raw relatability as she invites listeners to come along for the ride.
ABOUT MATT SCHUSTER:
Armed with a dynamic, soulful voice and a strong knack for writing charismatic lyrics, newcomer Matt Schuster may have just recently planted roots in Nashville but is primed for stardom in the Country genre. Hailing from a small town in Illinois, Schuster has had his sights set on being a singer/songwriter from a young age. After hearing Keith Urban’s “Days Go By” come through the radio waves during a hunting trip with his dad, Schuster was hooked. Now drawing inspiration from the likes of Brett Eldredge, Ed Sheeran, and John Mayer, his polished vocal range has been dubbed the love child of Chris Stapleton and Tyler Childers while he fuses the depth of Country and the versatility of pop. After organically growing his massive fanbase by curating content showcasing his favorite covers in front of the picturesque backroads he was raised on, his songwriting and unique flair were quickly noticed on TikTok. Releasing music independently for the last two years, Schuster has already found four of his songs in the top 200 of Spotify’s Country Global chart, racking up over 60M streams. His first official release of 2023, “Wasted Prayers” was penned alongside Jonny Price, Adam Yaron and further showcases Schuster’s thoroughly blended mix of smooth yet gritty delivery in the cleverly worded tale of a drunken, unanswered plea for another chance at love. Schuster is focused on continuing to earn the respect of Country music fans and looks forward to connecting with people through approachable storytelling and compelling live performance.
ABOUT VINCENT MASON:
Vincent Mason, 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Roswell, GA, is quickly making a name for himself in Nashville. As a freshman at Ole Miss in 2020, when class never resumed in person after spring break, Vincent found himself with a lot of extra time on his hands to write songs. Although he didn’t know much about the industry, he knew that Nashville is where people went to make country music. So, with a push from his family, he relocated, locked down, and spent the next few years writing. Those songs would make up the first batch of original music that have over 10 million streams and have landed him on numerous “artists to watch” lists.
