NASHVILLE, TENN. – Big Loud Records’ soulful troubadour Larry Fleet leans reflective today on all-new tree stand anthem, “Young Buck,” available now.

A lesson laden mid-tempo teaching through the lens of a life’s worth of father-son hunting trips, the outskirts stomper moves in parallel with time itself, taking snapshots of pivotal moments with Fleet’s father asking him to look deep and stay present as the pace picks up.

“I’ve been escaping into the great outdoors since I was waist-high, going out in the woods and learning what this life is about from my dad and my granddad,” Fleet remembers. “They taught me about the importance of family, good friends, about how to appreciate quality time spent with the people you love, finding gratitude for the little things. Now that I’ve got my own babies growing up faster than weeds, I can see the whole picture of what they were instilling in me. When I heard the demo for ‘Young Buck,’ I felt so connected to the story – it was mine to tell long before we ever got in the studio to cut it.”

“Young Buck” follows February’s new music double dose “Daddy Don’t Drink” and “Try Texas,” further previewing a larger body of work set for release later this year.

“Becoming increasingly known for his grounded and sincere songwriting” (Holler), Fleet just landed a career-highlight cut as a writer on Morgan Wallen and Eric Church collaboration “Man Made A Bar” from the eight-week all-genre #1 project, One Thing At A Time.

On deck, “one of the brightest rising stars in the business right now” (Whiskey Riff) keeps it moving down the road, mixing a direct support run with Parker McCollum with more of his raved-about headline Larry Fleet Live tour dates, and opening for Jon Pardi at Morrison, Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre this August.

Next week, he returns to Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry stage, stepping into the Circle for the first time since his September 2021 standing ovation-earning debut.

Tennessee-born troubadour Larry Fleet grew up on a stack of records spanning Merle Haggard, Otis Redding, Willie Nelson, and Marvin Gaye.
