NASHVILLE, TENN. – Straight from the heart and rooted in her hometown, Grand Ole Opry member and Big Loud Records superstar Lauren Alaina is Unlocked today, unveiling a six-song set that is “pulling back the layers on who she truly is” (American Songwriter), “both classic Lauren Alaina and a breath of fresh air” (Entertainment Focus).
“I’m so proud to have Unlocked out in the world today,” Alaina shares. “Five years ago, I don’t know that I would’ve cut any of these songs; it took slowing down, getting to know myself, digging deep in the writing room, and living some life to bring me to this place with this new music. I feel like I’ve fully embraced and stepped into who I am as a woman, an artist, a songwriter, and I’m so excited for my fans to get to step into this next chapter with me.”
Ranging from the stunning, empathetic ballad “Don’t Judge A Woman,” to female empowerment script flipper “Like Her,” to hometown breakup strutter “Smaller The Town,” to peachy backside anthem “Thicc As Thieves” featuring red-hot friend and collaborator Lainey Wilson, the buzzy set steers Alaina into uncharted territory, unlocking parts of her artistry more authentic, self-assured, joyful, and real than she’s ever been.
Pushed to new heights in the studio with producer Joey Moi, the collection “shows off another side to her supple vocals, highlighting her purring lows and infusing her upper register with an extra shot of edge and grit” (Billboard).

Today, Alaina will bring a boot scootin’ good time to her Suburban Cowgirl fan club bash at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl, performing the new EP and spending time with the fans and supporters she made it for.
