Burgeoning writer and producer Chandler Walters picked up a guitar at nine years old and never looked back. By the time he was in high school, the Marietta, Ga. native was singing and playing lead guitar in a trio. After graduating high school Walters drew inspiration from artists like John Mayer, the Eagles, and various 70s and 80s rock bands and dove headfirst into a new lane to express himself – pedal steel guitar. Soon after learning the emotive instrument, Walters moved to Nashville to pursue a career in music and began touring, both as a solo act and a band player for other artists. While on the road, Walters showcased his skills on TikTok, racking up views and catching the eye of country trailblazer, ERNEST. After meeting in person, Walters joined the in-demand star’s band and eventually signed a publishing deal with ERNEST and Big Loud Publishing co-venture, ERN’s Cadillac Music. Quickly becoming a notable songwriter, Walters just earned his first country and all genre No. 1 single with the Post Malone / Morgan Wallen crossover mammoth “I Had Some Help,” counts six cuts on Post Malone’s culture-rocking country album F-1 Trillion, seven cuts on ERNEST’s critically-acclaimed sophomore album NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE, including Jelly Roll collaboration “I Went To College, He Went To Jail,” three cuts on Bailey Zimmerman’s record-breaking debut album Religiously, and many more. This fall, Walters joins Post Malone’s touring band, picking up his pedal steel again for the F-1 Trillion Tour, and continues to work on his own original music.
