Mason Ramsey, the kid who went viral for yodeling inside a Wal-mart, has had a really busy past month. He took time out of his crazy schedule, to join the Bobby Bones Show this morning. Mason is fresh off his performance at Stagecoach, so Bobby asked the 11 year-old-star what that was like and he said, “It was crazy. There was like 95,000 people there. I just got up there and did my thing, and everything worked out.” Did it make you nervous Bones asked, “No, not really. Not at all.” He as came a long way from the roughly 20 people he’s used to singing in front of in Wal-mart.
His new single might be titled “Famous,” but don’t think for a second that he’s letting this new life go to his head. He told Bones, “Just to let you know, I’m just a normal kid. I’m just as smart as anyone else, and I’m just as nice as anyone else. I wouldn’t consider myself famous, because I don’t want to get the big head. I’m not trying to get the big head.”
The next big stage that the yodeler will hit, is the 2018 iHeartCountry Festival by AT&T this Saturday in Austin, Texas. He’ll join a star-studded lineup of country artists that will be taking the stage for some unforgettable performances and special moments … and to sing all their fans’ favorite songs, of course.
This year’s iHeartCountry Festival main stage lineup is full of some of the hottest artists in country music, including Luke Bryan, Keith Urban, Dustin Lynch, Cole Swindell, Maren Morris, Sugarland, Luke Combs, Billy Currington, Dan + Shay, Jon Pardi and Brett Young, and there may just be a surprise or two in store (wink wink). Additionally, taking on hosting duties once again this year will be Bobby Bones.
