NASHVILLE, TENN. – Maggie Rose, hailed for her “multi-genre talents” by Billboard and deemed a “star” by Rolling Stone, has released her ambitious new album, No One Gets Out Alive – listen here. For fans already enthralled by the Nashville-based powerhouse, No One Gets Out Alive will be deeply satisfying, and for those just discovering her, the record is a brilliant introduction.

To celebrate the new project, Rose has filmed a series of live performance videos, dubbed, “Live From the Caverns,” filmed at Tennessee’s The Caverns, a world-renowned destination for live music in a beautiful natural setting above and below ground. Two of the clips dropped today; watch album stand-outs, “Fake Flowers”here and “No One Gets Out Alive” here. A consummate live performer, the captivating setting serves as the ultimate backdrop, capturing the emotional intensity behind Rose’s new music, showcasing her dynamic stage presence and vocal prowess.

No One Gets Out Alive hearkens back to early ’70s Laurel Canyon, making for a masterfully written collection of songs with Maggie’s big, soulful voice taking center stage. The music deals in a variety of both dark and uplifting themes– disillusionment in relationships, ageism, female empowerment and living in the moment, among them. Displaying a mature evolution, the record continues to show Rose’s ability to successfully straddle the worlds of pop, rock, soul, Americana, and folk, unencumbered by genre specifics.

“I’ve had some wonderful moments throughout my career, and I’ve been lucky to connect with fans while traveling on the path to self-discovery,” Rose says. “My excitement surrounding this moment and this project really does make it feel like a new beginning.”

Rose assembled a dream team for the album including GRAMMY-Award winning producer Ben Tanner, GRAMMY-nominated audio engineer Bobby Holland, and conductor Don Hart (Phish, Lyle Lovett) who oversaw the arrangements and lush strings. The players include guitarist Sadler Vaden and drummer Chad Gamble from Jason Isbell’s 400 Unit, keyboardist Peter Levin (Amanda Shires, Gregg Allman), bassist Zac Cockrell (Alabama Shakes) and keyboardist Kaitlyn Connor and guitarist Kyle Lewis from Rose’s own band.

Working with a tight-knit circle of writers, Rose leaned into her vulnerability and brought her concepts to an ultra-talented group of collaborators who helped bring the songs to fruition. Songwriters include the heavyweight duo of Claude Kelly and Chuck Harmony (Miley Cyrus, Rihanna), Natalie Hemby (The Highwomen), Chris Gelbuda (Meghan Trainor), Pat McLaughlin (John Prine), Cliff Audretch (Hootie & The Blowfish), Henry Brill (Joy Oladokun), Charlotte Sands (JORDY), Jon Santana (Sid Tipton), Sunny Sweeney, and Kaitlyn Connor and Kyle Lewis from her band.

A respected fixture of the Nashville community, Rose has played the iconic Grand Ole Opry over 100 times and marquee festivals including Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, and Newport Folk Fest. A true road warrior, she has shared the stage with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Heart, Joan Jett, Eric Church, Gov’t Mule, The Mavericks, Fitz & The Tantrums, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, and The Revivalists to name a fewCatch her on the road this month and beyond, including a record release celebration, signing, and performance at Grimey’s in Nashville on April 6. See below for full itinerary.
