Jillian Jacqueline- DREAM TOUR

Jillian Jacqueline – DREAM TOUR

In this Dream Tour segment, the country artist, Jillian Jacqueline, lets you know who she would like on her ultimate tour lineup. You can check out the feature, after the break.

Bryan Adams
First and foremost…Bryan Adams. Sure our music doesn’t flow into the same genre pool, BUT, he is my all-time favorite melody writer. His songs are some of the ones that move me the most, and he’s maintained a killer career. And of course his voice…I can only imagine that has something to do with a great work ethic and constant self-discovery. I saw him in concert at The Ryman 3 years ago, just him and a guitar, and he sang for 2 hours straight, without stopping, or taking a drink of water. I was in tears by the end. I’ve mentioned that Bryan Adams would be my DREAM duet partner to many friends and they all find it a bit unusual, but if I ever got the chance to perform alongside him, watch his show night after night, I have no doubt I could die happy.

Borns
I can’t think of another album in the last few years that I’ve worn out front to back the way I have with Borns “Dopamine”… I think the production is perfect and I appreciate how he takes very romanticized lyrics and contrasts them with very quirky dark overtones. He just knows how to write a really great pop chorus and his melodies get stuck in my head for days. He’s stayed relatively under the radar, but I appreciate how he seems to have a strong vision for his art and how he wants it to be received.

Sheryl Crow
Sheryl has become the queen of the badass movement for my generation…I think of her as one of the most progressive, groundbreaking, but also culturally relevant females artists of her time. When my parents moved us to NYC when I was a teenager, we started listening to Tuesday Night Music Club and C’mon C’mon, something that expanded my education of rock and soul as well, genres I had never really been exposed to. Her songs amazingly bridge the gap between country and pop so effortlessly, and now more than ever her music resonates for its ingenuity. I can’t imagine what would be like to share the stage with her, but I’d like to find out.

Little Big Town
Hands down they are my favorite act in country music. I am so proud of the career this foursome has built, on hard work and perseverance and love for the craft. I’ve seen them perform many times and I’m always blown away at how each of they all work together seamlessly on stage. It’s such a dynamic show with incredible songs all over the set, not to mention their production choices on the last few records have continued to inspire me to push the envelope in the country format.
