Morgan Wallen and Jillian Jacqueline are two of country music’s brightest up and comers. Tuesday night the Big Loud Records recording artists will play USA Today Network’s Music City Sessions.
The free show is set for 8 p.m. at Aurora Nashville, inside The Pinnacle at Symphony Place,150 3rd Ave. South.
Wallen made his Grand Ole Opry debut Friday night and the East Tennessee native’s “The Way I Talk” is in the Top 35 at country radio. Written by Jessi Alexander, Ben Hayslip, and Chase McGill, “The Way I Talk” is the first single and title track from Wallen’s debut EP and has been streamed more than 10 million times on Spotify.
Jacqueline, a Pennsylvania native, applies her retro country pop style to break-up anthems “Reasons” and “Hate Me.” She was named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country in 2017. However, Jacqueline has been singing on stage with famous country singers since she was a child. When she was 9, Jacqueline joined the cast of “Christmas from the Heart,” a holiday revue starring Kenny Rogers that ran on Broadway. When the show ended, she went on to tour with Rogers and later appeared on Billy Dean and Suzy Bogguss’ song “Keep Mom and Dad in Love” in 2001.
