“COUNTRY FANS CAN’T GET ENOUGH” – ROLLING STONE

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Charles Wesley Godwin continues a busy 2025 by joining Eric Church on the Free The Machine Tour this week. After headlining and selling out Red Rocks Amphitheatre for the first time last week, Godwin and his ace band, The Allegheny High, will be direct support for the country iconoclast on nine arena shows, beginning October 23 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, UT and wrapping up at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA on November 15.
Godwin has already packed a lot into 2025. In February, he released the acclaimed Lonely Mountain Town EP, featuring collaborations with ERNEST and Scott Avett of musical heroes The Avett Brothers. Godwin and the Allegheny High toured in Europe and the UK, opened for The Avett Brothers on the West Coast in April, and joined Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan on select Outlaw Music Festival dates in July.
In September, he released his first-ever live album, Live From The Steel City. The 23-song album documents a sold-out night at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, PA, in front of 5,550 fans, and serves as a document of the power and energy Godwin and the High bring to each and every show they play. MusicRow says Godwin “captures live show magic” on Live From The Steel City, while Whiskey Riff declares “as one of the most talented bands in the entire genre, Godwin and The Allegheny High are set to deliver one of the best live albums in recent memory.” Country Central says the album “showcases the nearly unrivaled energy and road-tested grit of Godwin’s live shows.”
Godwin is already confirmed for Stagecoach 2026, and fans can expect another big year from the West Virginia native in 2026.
