Groundbreaking music collective BIG LOUD / MAVERICK continues to expand its stable of forward-thinking artist managers, welcoming RYAN KROON the firm’s growing team. Effectively immediately, Kroon joins as a day-to-day manager and can be reached here.
“When someone of Ryan’s caliber shows interest in joining our company, we jump at the opportunity to bring him in,” shares Big Loud partner/manager Chief Zaruk. “He is a true professional in every way and we cannot wait to see what he brings to our rapidly-growing team!”
An Oregon native and graduate of the University of Oregon, Kroon arrives at his new post with the proverbial wind at his back. After moving to Nashville in 2015, the rising talent has built a reputation as a sure-handed guide with some of the boldest artists in Music City, beginning first at Triple 8 Management and followed by four years at Red Light Management. There Kroon handled day-to-day duties for Country superstar Sam Hunt plus new talents Everette and Conner Smith, and he’ll use that experience to help take Big Loud’s roster to the next level.
“Joining the Big Loud / Maverick team is extremely exciting, and I couldn’t be more grateful,” Kroon says. “I have a tremendous amount of respect for what Seth [England], Chief [Zaruk] and the Big Loud team have accomplished over the years while creating a culture that is fresh, positive and inspiring. I’m thrilled to be a part of this team and ready to contribute all I can.”
Big Loud was founded as a partnership between Craig Wiseman, Seth England, Chief Zaruk, and Joey Moi, four industry veterans with a vision to bring song publishing, artist development, management, production, and promotion under one roof. The organization scored its first win when it helped launch the career of Florida Georgia Line – one of the most successful Country duos in history – and in 2015 the partners expanded their firm with the creation of Big Loud Records.
Big Loud’s management division has gone on to introduce breakout Country talent Morgan Wallen, a new-school superstar whose first three singles have all gone GOLD or PLATINUM, including back-to-back #1s “Up Down” (featuring Florida Georgia Line) and “Whiskey Glasses.” Big Loud also counts high-flying hit maker Chris Lane (“Fix”) on its management roster, along with HARDY, Dallas Smith, MacKenzie Porter and Sean Stemaly.
