NASHVILLE, TENN. (June 8, 2020) — Cutting-edge music company BIG LOUD is amping its powerhouse of hard-driving industry leaders, announcing PAUL LOGAN in a newly-created role as VICE PRESIDENT OF SYNC & VISUAL STRATEGY for its Records and Publishing divisions, effective immediately. Reach him here.

Respected for his in-demand bicoastal expertise with over 14 years of high-profile advancements within the entertainment industry, he will seek elevated opportunities in film, television, and video games for Big Loud recording artists and songwriters, in addition to developing key programming strategy and rollout for the trailblazing label’s video content.

Assuming his dynamic executive role at Big Loud from Spotify, he last served as Lead, Playlist Video Operations, overseeing content programming strategy across flagship playlists, as well as enhanced albums for top-tier superstars like The Beatles, Luke Combs, Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Post Malone, Ed Sheeran, and Taylor Swift. Prior to that, Logan racked up 12 years at Viacom including CMT, MTV, and VH1. As CMT’s Director of Creative Music & Licensing Strategy in Nashville, TN, he was the network’s music supervisor for featured placements in their scripted, reality, and documentary programming. In Los Angeles, CA, he supervised music for 28 seasons of various VH1 series as Manager of Creative Music Integration; coordinated consumer promotions and partnerships in their New York offices; and organized artist bookings as part of MTV’s Music & Talent team for the VMAs and Movie Awards, among others. Independently, Logan co-supervised music for the documentary Out & Around, as featured at TED Talks and selected for the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival. He’s been a speaker for the National Association of Recording Industry Professionals in London, Paris, and Berlin, plus an industry panelist for the Nashville Film Festival, Leadership Music, Women’s Music Business Association, Sunset Sessions, Durango Songwriters Expo, AmericanaFest, and more. Logan has also mentored the music industry’s next generation in sessions at UCLA, Arizona State University, Belmont University, and Vanderbilt University.
