Born the seventh of eight children in a two-stoplight town, Madison Kozak was destined to write & tell stories. Having grown up in a musical household in rural Ontario, Canada, she discovered her passion for entertaining at an early age, with all signs pointing her to Music City in high school. With a mixtape-like variety of influences ranging from Patsy Cline and Johnny Cash to Bonnie Raitt and Shania Twain, Madison seamlessly blends her traditional country roots with compelling lyrics and infectious melodies. “I believe you can never be too honest,” she notes. “I’ve always been drawn to the kind of songwriting that sounds like it’s being read from a page torn out of someone’s diary.”
In 2018, Kozak’s aforementioned honest storytelling is what lead her to sign her first ever publishing deal with Craig Wiseman’s Big Loud. It wasn’t long after that that she found herself taking the stage opening for country music icon Willie Nelson & rising country music star Morgan Wallen. Additionally, Madison has performed at CMA Fest, the legendary Bluebird Café, and Nashville Predators’ games. In 2020, Madison was named as one of CMT’s 2020 Next Women of Music, along with signing as the flagship artist of Songs & Daughters. Whether it’s in front of ten people or a thousand, Madison’s infectious energy and lively personality are guaranteed to evoke excitement, laughter, and enthusiasm across generations of audiences.
