TICKETS ON SALE NOW FOR HER HEADLINING THE STAGES TOUR BEGINNING THIS FALL
THIS WEEK, SMASH HIT “ALL MY EXES (FEAT. CHASE MATTHEW)” LEAPS INTO TOP 15 AT COUNTRY RADIO

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today, country superstar Lauren Alaina releases confessional new track “Never Been In Love (feat. Kane Brown)” from her forthcoming album Stages, due August 28. Featuring her RIAA Diamond-certified “What Ifs” duet partner, childhood friend and global superstar Kane Brown, the two announced the collaboration via Instagram last week in a “Love Island” style parody.
“I wrote ‘Never Been In Love (feat. Kane Brown)’ about the stage of life I’m in now,” shares Alaina. “I remember falling for my husband and feeling different than I’ve ever felt before. When you find true love and happiness, you realize how much you never had it in past relationships. I’m so excited to sing this song with my boy, Kane Brown. We’ve come a long way from those two kids singing ‘What Ifs’ ten years ago. It’s so exciting to sing this song to celebrate the love we have with our spouses and children.”
“Never Been In Love (feat. Kane Brown)” was written by Lauren Alaina, Songwriters Hall of Famer Ashley Gorley and Ben Johnson. After reflecting on her previous relationships, Alaina comes to a revelation about her love interest in this upbeat track:
I, I’ve never been in love
I swear I thought I was, but now it’s time the truth came out
Oh
I said it a thousand times
Now I know I was lying
I’ve never been in love ’til now
Her forthcoming album Stages, produced by hitmakers Joey Moi and Ben Johnson, chronicles the defining chapters of Alaina’s life with the lyrical candor she’s known for, and signature powerhouse vocals. Over the course of the album, she explores coming of age and sowing wild oats on Nashville’s Lower Broadway to starting a family and much more. The project builds on the momentum of chart-climbing “All My Exes (feat. Chase Matthew),” the smash that earned Alaina the biggest first-week streaming numbers of her career and was twice most-added at country radio, anthemic new jam, “Raining Whiskey” and better-than-revenge track “Better Off.”
Tonight, Lauren makes history as the first female headliner at Paperfest, a free-admission event that supports local charitable organizations in Kimberly, Wisconsin. Throughout the summer Alaina will play a variety of festivals including Sun Country Fest, The Back Road Music Festival and more.
Beginning this fall, Alaina will go on her headlining The Stages Tour spotlighting every era of her career, blending new music with the fan-favorite anthems that have defined her rise. Support across select dates will include rising artists Shane Profitt, Ashley Kutcher, and Hannah Harper. Tickets for all dates (except Nov 7) are on sale now. ABOUT KANE BROWN
Named “the future of country music” (Billboard), Multi-Platinum-selling, award-winning singer/songwriter Kane Brown “didn’t fit the country music mold. So he made his own.” (The New York Times). Kicking off 2026 strong, Brown just released his song “Woman,” which follows the success of his widely acclaimed 2025 record, The High Road. Listen to the song here.
Brown first broke onto the scene with the arrival of his self-titled, 2X Platinum debut album (2016), where he became the first artist ever to lead all five of Billboard’s main country charts simultaneously and topped the Billboard Top Country Albums chart for more than 13 weeks and earned two of the most-streamed country songs of all time (chart-topping singles Diamond Certified “Heaven,” and “What Ifs”). His album Experiment (2018) hit #1 on the Billboard Top 200 all genre list-becoming the first Country artist in more than 24 years to top the chart with a sophomore album. Brown released his multi-song project Mixtape Vol. 1- which earned Brown an ACM Award nomination for Album of the Year (2021) and an ACM win for “Video of the Year.”
Expanding beyond music, Brown has stepped into film and television, guest starring on 9-1-1: Nashville, and serving as executive producer on Thank God: Christmas at Keller Ranch. He is also the founder of Verse2, a publishing venture in partnership with Sony Music Publishing, further solidifying his growing influence across the industry. This summer, Brown also opened his new Nashville bar, Kane Brown’s On Broadway, marking his latest entrepreneurial venture and expansion in Music City.
