NASHVILLE, TENN. – On a winning streak of resonating singles, rising country star Timmy McKeever reckons with blame and toxicity on “Wrong With Me,” out now via Big Loud Records. Featured on Ones To Watch, McKeever is a “fresh yet seasoned face in country music” who “blends modern rhythms with deeply personal storytelling.” Listen to “Wrong With Me” here.
The new song was written by McKeever alongside Kipp Williams and Cale Dodds and produced by No. 1 hitmaker Alex Maxwell (“Darlin’” By Chase Matthew). Facing the toxicity of a formerly beloved relationship, McKeever asks:
What if I’m not the reason
Why I can’t fall asleep
What if I started seeing
What everybody sees
What if I’m tired of being
Who you think I should be
Girl what if all along
You’ve been what’s wrong with me
McKeever recently dropped infectious “20 Over,” which became his highest pre-save on a track release to date, proving the young star’s hitmaking ability. He’s making a name for himself with a growing catalog and energetic, sing-along live shows. On a recent tour date in Los Angeles, McKeever sat down with M*Star Studios to discuss his vintage wardrobe on the road and journey to music. Watch his “Pieces I’ll Never Sell” here.
The California-born, Nashville-based artist is currently supporting Maddox Batson on his 2026 Live! Worldwide Tour.
