Godwin and his ace band, The Allegheny High, will kick things off in March at Salt Lake City’s Maverik Center and continue through the spring and summer with sets at MerleFest, Stagecoach and Under The Big Sky festival.
Pre-sale begins Thursday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. CT followed by general on-sale at on Friday, Dec. 12 at 10 a.m. CT.
A live show standout, Godwin released a rollicking album Live From The Steel City in September. The 23-song collection was praised by Country Central, Whiskey Riff and more, with Saving Country Music claiming – “anybody who’s ever had their face melted by Charles Wesley Godwin and his full-tilt band The Allegheny High don’t need to be convinced why releasing a live album is a good idea.” Reflecting the unforgettable moments of his live set, the album was recorded at last year’s sold-out show at Stage AE outdoors in Pittsburgh, Pa. in front of 5,550 fans.
