NASHVILLE, TENN. – Undeniable married duo Thelma & James today release “Nostalgic for Nothing,” the latest of their growing catalog of irresistible, resonating songs. Teased earlier on socials, the pair are gearing up to release their first project since the inception of their joint artistry which was sparked by the success of their first co-write in over a decade that produced viral “Happy Ever After You.”
“This song is a quirky love letter to all the random things that remind you of someone,” share Thelma & James. “That weirdly specific kind of nostalgia you can’t shake. Maybe because deep down you still want to be there… with them. We all have that one person or moment we keep replaying in our heads.”
Written by the pair alongside Jordan Reynolds and Parker Welling, produced by Louis Johnson, the addictive new song reflects what Holler describes as “melodic luster.” Doing what they do best, queuing up a familiar feeling with the turn of a phrase or strike of a chord, the new song is an up-tempo offering with resonance.

An undeniable force, married Nashville-based singer-songwriters MacKenzie Porter and Jake Etheridge form the musical partnership Thelma & James. Not realizing the best writing partner was right under their noses the whole time, their first co-write in over a decade produced “Happy Ever After You.” Evolving organically from an impromptu video that earned praise from fellow artists like John Mayer, Luke Combs, Brandi Carlile and more, the song has since garnered over 20 million streams since its release.
