NEW SONG “WHO HURT YOU” OUT THIS FRIDAY (7/19)
NASHVILLE, TENN. – Kashus Culpepper has signed an exclusive worldwide publishing deal with Big Loud Publishing / Warner Chappell Music.

The newest addition to the Big Loud Records roster, Culpepper “came out of the gates swinging, showing country music he will be a force of nature” (Whiskey Riff) with the release of first-ever single “After Me?” in June. Critical acclaim quickly followed, with Billboard raving: “He inhabits a country-blues amalgam in similar musical terrain as country / Americana stalwarts such as Marcus King and Chris Stapleton, while infusing his work with his signature muscular, sandpapery growl. Culpepper builds on sweltering organic momentum this Friday, with just announced release, “Who Hurt You.” Originally catching fire on his socials last fall, “Who Hurt You” became a watershed moment for the rising country crooner when short clips across TikTok and Instagram led to a November performance of the song for RadioWV, gripping country and Americana listeners nationwide.

Alabama-born country crooner Kashus Culpepper encompasses the sound of the South. A student and reverent purveyor of Southern music – country, soul, blues, folk, and rock – Culpepper’s husky, sandpaper growl bellows like a freight train over self-penned stories that are as raw and real as they are haunting.
