NASHVILLE, TENN. – A father declaring his love. A son saying goodbye. Charles Wesley Godwin takes listeners through a gamut of emotions on “Hey There Son,” out today. Featuring Wyatt Flores and co-written with Lori McKenna, the song is a cornerstone of Godwin’s upcoming album Christian Name, out July 24 via Big Loud Records. Watch the lyric video here.

“I started writing ‘Hey There Son’ in 2019, around the time my first son was born,” explains Godwin. “I’m a huge fan of Lori McKenna, and always felt like she’d be the perfect person to help me finish it. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to bring it to her in 2024, and we knocked it out in an afternoon. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room by the time we finished.”

“When Al and I started recording it, I knew I wanted that perspective shift in the final verse, and Wyatt was the obvious choice,” says Godwin. “He’s incredible, and his performance took the song to the next level. I’m really proud of this one.”

Christian Name is an intensely personal collection of songs, but it’s more than just another body of work; it’s how Godwin learned to live again. Through moments of mourning. Through tales of redemption. And ultimately, through a tried-and-true reaffirmation of his faith.

“These songs really meant a lot to me,” Godwin explains. “There’s parts of me and parts of the things that I’ve gone through in the last couple years that are in each and every song on this album.”

While Christian Name is without question a highly personal affair for Godwin – he took direct inspiration for both the album title and album cover from his late grandfather, Charles Godwin, a Methodist preacher – he’s quick to note how critical a role his creative community of friends and musical collaborators played in the album’s conception.

Not only does Christian Name include a pair of thrilling feature collaborations – the earworm “Better That Way” with Luke Combs and the remarkable “Hey There Son” featuring Flores – but it’s also the result of Godwin partnering with some of music’s most treasured songwriters: Stephen Wilson Jr. (“Brand New”), Liz Rose (“I Caught The Sunrise”), Lori McKenna (“Hey There Son”), Aaron Ratiere (“God’s Been Good To Me”), Travis Meadows (“Try Again,” “Every Once In Awhile”), Scooter Carusoe (“Better That Way,” “Hallelujah High,” “Place I Know”), and Tom Douglas (“Street Advice”). The album was produced by Allegheny High guitarist and Godwin’s longtime producer Al Torrence.

“I had a lot of help with this album — I sought out people and they brought a lot of the hope and the light and the lighter moments of the album,” Godwin offers. “That was a lot of their influence. The album needed that.”

Godwin will tour extensively in support of Christian Name. The Christian Name Tour kicks off July 14 in Sioux Falls, SD and runs through mid-November, with a return to Red Rocks on October 15. In addition to his own headline shows, Godwin will be doing a co-headline run with Dylan Gossett this summer, and he’ll open for Kacey Musgraves on her Middle of Nowhere tour this fall.

NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Today, Big Loud Texas proudly announces the signing of GRAMMY® nominated artist-writer Waylon Payne. In tandem, Payne announces his forthcoming album Wayward set for July 17. A song decades in the making, “Weed By The Wall” is out today.

“This album is very special to me and ‘Weed by the Wall’ is probably one of my favorite moments as a writer,” shares Payne. “I’m incredibly proud to have partnered with Big Loud Texas to release this collection of songs and I sure hope folks enjoy it.”

“I first heard Waylon Payne’s music in 2004, with his very first album,” Lambert adds. “Called The Drifter, I’ll never forget the feelings it gave me. The honesty in his songwriting was genuinely something I’d never experienced, as well as the emotion coming across in his vocals; it made me hang on every word.

“Everything he has ever made inspired me – and so many artists that I know and love. It’s pure truth, and where can you find that? Wayward, which I can’t believe we get to release on Big Loud Texas, defines what I hope this label can be. Nothing short of brilliant, the truths and stories match these perfect melodies that make you feel every emotion.”

A 13-song collection produced by Frank Liddell (Lee Ann Womack, Miranda Lambert) and Eric Masse (Parker McCollum), half of Wayward was notably solo written. The new masterful body of work follows his timeless debut The Drifter (2003) and Blue Eyes, The Harlot, The Queer, The Pusher & Me (2020), which were both met with widespread acclaim. A brilliant showcase of the razor-sharp lyrical prowess that defines his artistry, Wayward is vulnerable, honest and beaming with wisdom.

The album features recently released “Holding On To Lonely” that Billboard noted as, “vulnerable” and “introspective,” and MusicRow praised, “his voice is marvelously aching.” Payne’s “Looking For A Feeling,” penned alongside Pam Tillis and named one of the “Best New Country Songs” by Holler, kicks off Wayward.

Payne’s intricate lyricism is weaved throughout today’s “Weed By The Wall”:

I am a freight train

Forged out of steel

I am a highway rolling west in the morning

My hands on the wheel

I am a full-grown man

I stand alone

ABOUT WAYLON PAYNE

A poetic outlaw, Waylon Payne made an indelible mark with his timeless debut album The Drifter (2003). Building on the legacy of that album and the widespread acclaim of Blue Eyes, The Harlot, The Queer, The Pusher & Me (2020), Waylon sets his forthcoming new album Wayward for July 17. “Looking For A Feeling” and “Holding On To Lonely” signaled his triumphant re-emergence, showcasing his signature razor-sharp lyrical prowess. Waylon’s musical pedigree is storied. The son of GRAMMY® Award-winning country singer Sammi Smith and Jody Payne of Willie Nelson’s band, he dons the name of his godfather Waylon Jennings. He began his prolific career writing for and playing with other musicians. Multi-talented with the charm of a seasoned entertainer, Waylon has pursued acting in earnest; he appeared in the award-winning Johnny Cash biopic Walk the Line (2005). After, he was cast in the starring role of Hank Garland in the biopic Crazy (2006).

NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Today, Big Loud Texas singer-songwriter Julianna Rankin showcases her standout vocals on “Dusty Boots,” out now. Called “The Lone Star rising star” by Cowboys & Indians, Rankin continues to chart her musical path with smoldering new songs like recent “Little Miss Behavin’,” with an unforgettable official music video starring Gretchen Wilson.

“’Dusty Boots’ is one of those songs I’ve been anxiously waiting for people to hear,” shares Rankin. “It captures so much of where I come from — not only my Texas roots, but the music and moments that made me fall in love with country music in the first place. It’s a two-stepper that transports me to all my favorite places: dancing under a painted sunset, a night at Gruene Hall and the kind of memories you wish you could live twice. I hope it does the same for everyone who listens.”

Rankin wrote “Dusty Boots” alongside Jon Decious, Steph Jones, Josh Kear and Aaron Raitiere. In this steel-soaked honky-tonk song, Rankin sings:

Dusty boots and barroom floors

Red dirt roots, four-by-fours

Truck stops and diesel, Willie and Waylon

Cornbread and cast iron

If you know what I’m sayin’

Honky-tonks and heavy pours

So crank up the band, and then crank it some more

Let’s get to dancing, ’cause that’s what they made ’em for

About her most recent release, “XYZ71s,” All Country News praised Rankin’s artistry, “she’s driving her own story, and she’s not checking the rearview for permission.” Kicking things off with a bang, her label debut “Bad Habits and Good Horses” was featured in the season finale of Landman via Paramount+ earlier this year.

This summer, Rankin will support Casey Donahew, Neal McCoy and Mark Chesnutt on select dates. In September, Julianna will play at Everybody’s Somebody Festival with headliners Hayes Carll & The Band of Heathens.
NASHVILLE, TENN. – For Kyle Fishman, signing with ERN’s Cadillac Music via Big Loud Publishing just makes sense. In his earliest days as a freshman writer on Music Row, Fishman lived at Big Loud’s office – on the third floor then reserved for Dallas Davidson’s Play It Again, now ERN’s Cadillac Music headquarters – and counts writes a decade ago with ERNEST as some of his first in town. He has lent his pen and production to many of country music’s most influential voices including Morgan Wallen, Kenny Chesney, Teddy Swims, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Lainey Wilson, Dan + Shay and more.

“I’ve always felt like Big Loud was home base since moving to Nashville,” Fishman shares. “It’s where ERN and I first met and wrote songs together. Feels full circle to join Cadillac/Big Loud and I’m stoked to be a part of it.”

“I love Kyle. He was one of my first writes in this town…,” ERN’s Cadillac Music Founder and CEO ERNEST shares. “It’s full circle to get to work with him in this capacity! He is so musical and one of the hardest workers I know. ALWAYS turning out songs. He has hit power, and I’m stoked he’s a part of the Cadillac crew.”

Fishman’s work includes massive hits like Dustin Lynch’s “Small Town Boy,” Luke Bryan’s “Down To One” and “Thank God” by Kane Brown featuring Katelyn Brown. He’s also behind Zach John King’s debut radio single, “Get To Drinkin’.” Known for his standout toplines and genre-blending production, Kyle made a name for himself across country, rock and pop. Growing up in Sacramento, California, Fishman cut his teeth playing and touring in death metal bands. His rock and alt-leaning collaborations include Underoath, Nickelback, Wage War, Story Of The Year, The Used and Said The Sky.

ABOUT ERN’S CADILLAC MUSIC

Doubling down on his investment in Nashville’s songwriting community, mononymous triple threat talent ERNEST founded ERN’s Cadillac Music in partnership with Big Loud Publishing in 2023. Built on passion for the craft of songwriting, old-school creative values and a collaborative spirit, the dynamic roster includes Chandler Walters, Cody Lohden, Jacob Durrett, Kyle Fishman, Mark Holman, Rafe Tenpenny and Rhys Rutherford. The chart-topping creatives have been recognized by GRAMMY®, CMA and ACM for their contributions. Making an indelible mark on culture, ERN’s Cadillac Music is behind smash records like Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion, including all-genre No. 1 “I Had Some Help (feat. Morgan Wallen),” songs from Bailey Zimmerman, Charles Wesley Godwin and more.

ABOUT BIG LOUD PUBLISHING

Tailor-made by GRAMMY® Award-winning songwriter Craig Wiseman in 2003, the man in the “big loud shirt” has inspired the same bold, creative statement that cements Big Loud Publishing as one of the most successful independent music publishers in Nashville. Their stable of top-tier songwriters includes Wiseman, Joey Moi, Ashley Cooke, Blake Coddington, Brock Phillips, Chandler Walters, Cody Lohden, Grady Block, Hailey Benedict, Jacob Durrett, Jake Worthington, John Byron, Jordan Dozzi, Kashus Culpepper, Larry Fleet, Lars Pruitt, Lauren Watkins, Luke Preston, Mark Holman, Matt McCartney, Max Martin, Rafe Tenpenny, Rhys Rutherford and Rocky Block.
NASHVILLE, TENN. – Following the release of his acclaimed debut album Act I, Kashus Culpepper today announces Act I: Summer Nights, set for June 19. The four new songs add to its predecessor which has been lauded by NPR, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Paste, SPIN, Garden & Gun, EARMILK and more.

A sonic addendum to his lauded debut album, the new collection explores another dimension of Culpepper’s intrinsic artistry and versatility – this time a lighter, groovier side that reflects his varied influences. Admittedly, the new music emerged from an exploratory creative space with producer / co-writer Mike Robinson after finding a groove and following it; the result: buoyant songs like infectious “Let Me Show You Love” and “Miss You Much Longer.”

Act I: Summer Nights maintains the instrumental integrity of its debut counterpart including the prominent use of pedal steel. Made for the season, the EP kicks off with a cover of Glen Campbell’s immortalized “Southern Nights” and concludes with a sultry, slower number, “Til The Sun Goes Down.” Recorded in Nashville, Culpepper tapped former collaborators Oscar Charles (“Mean To Me,” “In Her Eyes”), Luke Preston (“Alabama Beauty Queen,” “Better Weather”) and Grady Block (“Break Me Like”), as well as additional creatives, to bring the new songs to life.

Recently earning his first nomination for Americana Honors & Awards Emerging Act of the Year, Culpepper has compiled a long list of accolades in just two years since his first release. Touted by Elton John as “if Bill Withers made country music” (here), and described by John Mayer as “as good as it gets,” Culpepper has made appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CBS Saturday Sessions, The Kelly Clarkson Show, NPR World CafeandThe Tamron Hall Show.

The Alabama native is part of Shazam’s 2026 Fast Forward Class, WXPN’s Artist to Watch for January 2026, 2026 Nashville Scene Artist to Watch, GRAMMY.com’s 25 Artists to Watch in 2025, Apple Music Zane Lowe’s 25 Artists for ’25, 2025 Variety Power of Young Hollywood Impact Report, Opry NextStage Class of 2025, Billboard‘s February 2025 Country Rookie of the Month, 2025 Amazon Music Bonfire Artist to Watch, Apple Music’s February 2025 Country Riser of the Month, 2025 Pandora Country Artist to Watch and Martin Artist Showcase Class of 2025.

ABOUT KASHUS CULPEPPER

Alabama-born artist-writer Kashus Culpepper encompasses the sound of the South. A student and reverent purveyor of Southern music – country, soul, blues, folk and rock – Culpepper found his voice in church as young as five years old. It wasn’t until 2020 that Culpepper went from listener to performer, picking up a guitar and learning cover songs to play at barrack bonfires in Rota, Spain during his deployment with the Navy. Covers soon became originals, and once he landed home on U.S. shores, Kash played dive bars up and down the Mississippi Gulf Coast, making a name for himself with the fresh-yet-reminiscent sound that oozes from his very being. Crashing into prominence, Culpepper sold out headline club shows throughout the South before formally releasing a single song. With Nashville taking notice, Culpepper found a musical home at Big Loud Records. Culpepper has joined Leon Bridges, Sierra Ferrell and Darius Rucker on tour – embarking this year on a headlining run as well as dates with Niall Horan, Eric Church, Shaboozey, Jelly Roll, Thomas Rhett and Wyatt Flores. Named one of the 2026 Shazam Fast Forward Class, WXPN’s Artist to Watch for January 2026, 2026 Nashville Scene Artist to Watch, GRAMMY.com‘s 25 Artists to Watch in 2025, Apple Music Zane Lowe’s 25 Artists for ’25, 2025 Variety Power of Young Hollywood Impact Report, Opry NextStage Class of 2025, Billboard‘s February 2025 Country Rookie of the Month, 2025 Amazon Music Bonfire Artist to Watch, Apple Music’s February 2025 Country Riser of the Month, 2025 Pandora Country Artist to Watch and Martin Artist Showcase Class of 2025, Culpepper’s debut album Act I is out now. His groovy, seasonal addendum, Act I: Summer Nights, is set for June 19.

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today, DeVille Records’ artist-writer Cody Lohden releases slow-burning new song “Camels In The Console.” Gaining traction for his mix of heart and hooks, he recently earned praise from hitmaker HARDY who called Lohden’s “Buckle Up,” “so well written,” on an episode of Broken Record Podcast.

“Stoked to get ‘Camels In The Console’ out to the world,” shares Lohden. “Sort of a new lane for me and reflects some of my outside influences. I get to show off a little bit vocally.”

Written by Lohden alongside Rian Ball, Nick Boyd and Brock Phillips, “Camels In The Console” chronicles the cycle of secrecy and closed-door exchanges with an on-again, off-again romance:

Yeah she always pulls me in

To her lips

When she wants

A fix again

Somewhere nobody can see

We’re on fire for a night

Then ashes tomorrow

Like I’m some kinda vice

She hides in her Bronco

Like Camels in the console

The former firefighter / paramedic born and raised in Garfield, Kentucky is on a winning streak of resonating singles. Penning songs about small-town living, Lohden recently dropped “Go Round” and summer anthem “Drinks Can Drink,” that Country Central called “extremely catchy.”

Today, Lohden will make his CMA Fest debut on the Good Molecules Reverb stage followed by a performance at the Ryman Auditorium & BMI Block Party. He will conclude the weekend with a Whiskey Jam set at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row tomorrow. Stay up to date with Cody Lohden here.

ABOUT CODY LOHDEN

A vocal powerhouse with both the pipes and penmanship of an authentic country hero, Cody Lohden is a singer-songwriter signed to ERN’s Cadillac Music / DeVille Records, primed for a creative breakout. The former firefighter / paramedic spent the last few years on a unique story of self-styled success and now answers the call of a new artistic chapter. Raised in Garfield, Kentucky, Lohden got his first guitar at 12 and quickly put it to use, drawn to the simplicity of country craftsmen like Keith Whitley and Don Williams, and the greasy grit of rockers like Bob Seger. He joined the school choir but was too shy to sing solo… until Lohden’s dad entered him in a local singing competition, which he won. Performing for a crowd of 800, his stage fright was replaced by a passion for the stage, and Lohden went on to make monthly trips to Nashville, learning to write songs with a lived-in mix of heart and hooks. Lohden was releasing music independently while living on a buddy’s couch for six months when one of his TikTok videos went viral, connecting the raw talent with hitmaker ERNEST. Lohden signed a publishing deal with ERN’s Cadillac Music four months before making the move to Nashville, and has since toured in support of Bailey Zimmerman, Walker Hayes and ERNEST, while co-writing cuts for ERNEST, Zimmerman, Austin Snell and others.

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today, the Indiana-born, Nashville-based rising star Stephen Wilson Jr. released “Preacher’s Kid,” the highly anticipated follow-up to his latest single “Gary” which is currently in the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay Chart.

About the song, Stephen Wilson Jr. explains:

preachers kid (pk): based on a true story(s). i saw the light that was the underbelly of a catfish & it can be as compelling fodder for storytelling as any other abstract inspirer. broken and conflicted like us all, a small town can be a world. another world within a world when the world was once much smaller. while being adamantly instructed to avoid the worldly, i attended a class in church that taught you how to speak in tongues & that swearing is sin. i witnessed exorcisms before lunch & a crying youth pastor preaching an impending Armageddon stole my girlfriend in high school.

Last month, Stephen Wilson Jr. took home his first ACM Award for Visual Media of the Year for his official video for “Cuckoo” that he co-directed with his longtime creative collaborator Tim Cofield. Wilson Jr. released his ninth collaboration with Cofield earlier this year with the official video for “Gary,” which stars award-winning actor Gary Sinise (Forrest Gump, Apollo 13).

Wilson Jr. premiered “Gary” late last year with an electrifying performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and also performed it on This Past Weekend with Theo Von and The Howard Stern Show.

ABOUT STEPHEN WILSON JR.
Stephen Wilson Jr.’s journey from the hollers of southern Indiana to Nashville, Tenn. has been a winding road that’s taken many detours: He’s been an Indiana State Golden Gloves boxing championship finalist, a scientist, and a lead guitarist and songwriter in an indie rock band. In 2016, he ditched his laboratory 9-to-5 and signed a publishing deal with BMG Nashville where his alchemic songcraft immediately made waves, leading to cuts from Caitlyn Smith, Old Dominion, Tim McGraw, Sixpence None the Richer, Leigh Nash and more. 2023 proved to be Wilson Jr.’s breakthrough year, signing with Big Loud Records and releasing his critically-acclaimed debut double album søn of dad: a triumphant, genre-spanning set of 22 songs dedicated to his late father and given to the world on the five-year anniversary of his passing. In 2024, Stephen’s star grew as he made his network television debut on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers, followed by performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #LateShowMeMusic series and Later…with Jools Holland. Ahead of the one-year anniversary of søn of dad, Wilson Jr. was also profiled in an extensive feature for CBS Saturday Morning, and last year, he released a deluxe edition of the album which featured a moving interpretation of “Stand By Me” that has been streamed tens of millions of times. Last November, he earned his first CMA Award nomination for New Artist of the Year and played twice on the broadcast – a moving performance of his song “Took A Walk” from the film The Long Walk with Shaboozey and a star-making rendition of “Stand By Me.” To close out the year, he released new single “Gary,” which he debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and is currently climbing the country radio charts. Fresh off his first ACM Award win for Visual Media of the Year for the video for his song “Cuckoo”, Stephen is currently in the midst of his Gary The Torch Tour headline tour that extends through December across the US and Europe/UK. This year, he will also share the stage with Dave Matthews Band at The Gorge Amphitheatre and Brandi Carlile for 3 nights at Red Rocks. He’ll also perform at Nissan Stadium at this year’s CMA Fest before playing Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic.

NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS – Multi-Platinum singer, songwriter and producer Dylan Gossett unveils his brand new single, “Honeysuckle,” out today via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records—listen here. Watch the lyric video here.

While Gossett’s 2025 debut album, Westward, chronicled his whirlwind experience becoming one of Texas Country’s most compelling new voices and navigating a rapidly changing life while on the road, “Honeysuckle” finds the Austin native returning to his roots and reflecting on home, love and the relationships that matter most.

Following the breakout success of his critically acclaimed debut LP, “Honeysuckle” signals a more personal and intimate direction in his songwriting. Written on the tour bus following his monumental 2025 Stagecoach debut, “Honeysuckle” began as an escape from the California desert and evolved into one of Gossett’s most distinctly Texas songs to date. With vivid lines referencing the stunning sunsets he regularly sees on his property in Wimberley, Texas, “Honeysuckle” was written as a love song to his wife, as he sings, “Love the way that you talk / Southern sweet, Texas drawl / Takes me home.”

Earlier this spring, Gossett dropped his deeply personal track, “My Boy,” celebrating the birth of his first child and dedicating it to his growing family.

Beginning this weekend, Gossett will embark on select stadium dates with Mumford & Sons across North America. Following this run, he’ll then support The Red Clay Strays later this summer before co-headlining a U.S. tour with Charles Wesley Godwin in the fall, which promises to bring two standout voices in modern country and Americana together. Not to mention, on the international front, Gossett will headline shows in the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand throughout the year. See the full list of upcoming tour dates here and below.

Over the past few years, Dylan Gossett has emerged as one of the biggest and brightest new stars in country music. With nearly 1.5 billion streams across his catalog to date, his breakout single “Coal” recently picked up a 2x Platinum certification in the United States, in addition to going Gold in the U.K., Platinum in Australia, 2x-Platinum in Canada, and 2x-Platinum in Ireland. The song marked his first entry on the Spotify U.S. Top 200 Chart, Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and U.K. Official Singles Chart Top 100. Not to mention, it broke into the Top 25 of the Billboard Country Digital Songs Chart and Top 5 of the Spotify Viral 50 U.S. and Global Charts. In addition, his single “Beneath Oak Trees” recently became RIAA Gold Certified. It’s no wonder major players such as Spotify and Amazon pegged him as an “Artist To Watch” in 2024, while MusicRow named him among its “Next Big Thing Class of 2025 Artists.” Cementing himself as a global touring force, Gossett sold over 200,000 tickets worldwide to date. Stay tuned for more to come from Dylan Gossett in 2026.

ABOUT DYLAN GOSSETT

Hailing from Austin, Texas, 27-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer Dylan Gossett has quickly become a rising face of Texas Country with his signature blend of Americana and Red Dirt influences and lyricism rooted in his southern upbringing. The multi-Platinum certified singer and songwriter initially took flight in 2023 with his breakthrough single “Coal,” which has now passed half-a-billion streams and is 2x RIAA Platinum Certified. “Coal” struck a chord with global audiences, cracking the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Official Singles Chart and picking up multi-platinum certifications around the world, with tastemakers like The New York Times declaring “Coal” “One of the year’s best country songs.”

Gossett continued his rise with the No Better Time EP [2023] and Songs In The Gravel EP [2024], which he self-wrote, recorded, and produced. Keeping up this pace, he gained further traction with singles, such as the RIAA Gold Certified “Beneath Oak Trees,” “To Be Free,” “If I Had A Lover,” “Tree Birds,” and more. Over the last few years, he has tirelessly toured the globe while building a formidable fanbase. He notably sold over 200,000 headline tickets worldwide to date. Not to mention, he’s become a standout at festivals including Stagecoach Festival, SXSW, CMA Fest, Country 2 Country, Austin City Limits Festival, and more, in addition to making his Grand Ole Opry debut and supporting superstars like Noah Kahan and Morgan Wallen for select dates.

It’s no wonder major players such as Spotify, Amazon, and The New York Times pegged him as an “Artist To Watch,” while MusicRow named him among its “Next Big Thing Artists”and Rolling Stone hailed him as “One of country music’s most in-demand live draws.” This career-defining momentum set the stage for his 2025 full-length debut Westward, released via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records. Once again, Dylan self-produced and wrote the entire album, with three songs co-written with close friend and bandmate Colton Forrest Hardy. Led by singles “Like I Do,” “American Trail,” and “Sweet Lady,” the album thematically ponders the nature of love, family, faith, and what it means to pursue a lifelong dream. Following the release of Westward, Gossett dropped a deluxe version featuring three new tracks while he headlined shows across North America on The Westward Tour.

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today rising country star Timmy McKeever releases swaggering new song “Back To Back,” out now. On a winning streak of resonating singles, McKeever is carving out his own lane and “the rest of the world is starting to take notice” (ones to watch).

Performed for crowds nationwide during his stint on the road with Maddox Batson, “Back To Back” exemplifies McKeever’s evolving sound and clever songwriting. In a toxic cycle with an ex, McKeever utilizes clever double meaning in the new song:

Take a couple shots and we hit the floor

Spin the room around until we’re at the door

We were kissing now you’re cussing laying in this bed

Sleeping back to back again

Wake up in the morning you’re gone

Said that it was over but it won’t take long

‘Til you’re drunk and alone at 2am staring down at your phone calling me

Back to back again

About his most recent “Wrong With Me,” Raised Rowdy noted, “Timmy brings an edge to his songs…but still holds true to his country roots with strong lyrical imagery.” Infectious “20 Over,” released earlier this year, became McKeever’s highest pre-save on a track release to date, proving the young star’s hitmaking ability. Adding to his growing catalog, McKeever’s previously released “I Wish I Could,” “Back to the Bottle,” “Hold You To It” and more.

McKeever will make his CMA Fest debut this Sunday (6/7) on the Good Molecules Reverb stage. This summer, McKeever will support Cooper Alan and Lee Brice on select dates. In the fall, McKeever will hit the road with Ashey Cooke on her headlining the baby blues world tour with stops in Boston, New York City and more.
NASHVILLE, TENN. – After announcing her headlining The Stages Tour earlier this week, multi-Platinum Country superstar Lauren Alaina releases new better-than-revenge anthem “Better Off” from her forthcoming album Stages, due August 28.

“I wrote “Better Off” from the perspective of a girl who finally realizes she didn’t lose anything by being cheated on…in a lot of ways, she ended up much better off. It’s full of sass and attitude, but underneath it all, it’s really about growth and knowing your worth,” shares Alaina. “I’m in such a beautiful season of life now with my husband and daughter, and this song feels like finally closing the door on a different stage of my life.”

Written by Alaina alongside Joe Fox, Matt Jenkins and Josh Miller, the new country-rock anthem has a clever twist in the chorus. Alaina sings:

Bet you thought that ring felt better off

And her skin tight jeans looked better off

And them hotel lights were better off

Hiding in the dark now look at where you are

Dirty blonde went and did you dirty

Hope she hurt you like you hurt me

I know you never think, but I bet you never thought

I’d be the one be the one who’s better off

Her forthcoming album Stages, produced by hitmakers Joey Moi and Ben Johnson, chronicles the defining chapters of Alaina’s life with the lyrical candor she’s known for, and signature powerhouse vocals. Over the course of the album, she explores coming of age and sowing wild oats on Nashville’s Lower Broadway to starting a family and much more. The project builds on the momentum of chart-climbing “All My Exes (feat. Chase Matthew),” the smash that earned Alaina the biggest first-week streaming numbers of her career and was twice most-added at country radio, and anthemic new jam, “Raining Whiskey.”

Alaina’s headlining The Stages Tour beginning this fall will spotlight every era of her career, blending new music with the fan-favorite anthems that have defined her rise. Support across select dates will include rising artists Shane Profitt, Ashley Kutcher, and Hannah Harper.
ABOUT LAUREN ALAINA

Lauren Alaina, praised by Rolling Stone for her “powerhouse, honey-toned vocals that meld timeless twang with modern sass,” continues her “limitless upward trajectory” (American Songwriter) as one of country music’s most magnetic entertainers. Her forthcoming new album Stages, due out August 28, builds on the momentum of smash “All My Exes (feat. Chase Matthew)” that marked the biggest first-week streaming numbers of her career. A dynamic live act, she will support Darius Rucker on his Songs of Summer Tour this year along with her fall headlining The Stages Tour.
NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today Big Loud Texas singer-songwriter Alex Lambert delivers “Lay Down In A Pickup,” a spellbinding reverie. The soul country force offers an ingenious take on a classic country trope, swapping the standard backroads setting for a romantic desert getaway. Watch Lambert’s visualizer for “Lay Down In A Pickup” here.

Co-produced by Big Loud Texas Co-Founder Jon Randall, “Lay Down In A Pickup” emerged from a writing session with legendary songwriter Rivers Rutherford (Jamey Johnson, The Highwaymen). “Rivers had that title, and I got him on board with turning it into something with the cowboy-soul vibe I was going for,” says Lambert. “It’s still a pickup song, but we’re painting with the colors of South Texas and Baja California and all those desert places I felt inspired by.”

Offering a fresh take on the trope, Lambert sings:

When you lay down in a pickup

Underneath the desert sky

With a poncho for a blanket

And a skin of Spanish wine

And you see how small we are

And how the stars were meant to shine

And living don’t hurt so much

When you lay down in a pickup

With a sound unlike any other in modern music, Lambert’s most recent releases are a gorgeous convergence of country, soul and timeless R&B. Announcing his signing with Big Loud Texas in January, Lambert released “Shoot Me Down,” one of Holler‘s “Best New Country Songs.” Since, he’s released “Rules of Attraction,” a song about undeniable chemistry, and “You Make Sense To Me” which serves as a statement of artistic intent.

Lambert is currently embarking on headlining dates – including performing at New York City’s Mercury Lounge earlier this week. Next week, he’ll return to Music City for a billing at CMA Fest on Saturday (6/6) at Good Molecules Reverb Stage before heading out with Billy Currington and Kip Moore later this year.

ABOUT ALEX LAMBERT

Soul-country singer-songwriter Alex Lambert is a Fort Worth-bred artist whose music is defined by country storytelling and timeless soul. Recently signed to Big Loud Texas, the buzzed-about imprint co-founded by Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall, Alex brings a rich, distinct sound shaped by classic country, R&B and pop influences. Raised on everything from Willie Nelson to Michael Jackson, and later inspired by soul greats like Sam Cooke, Bill Withers and D’Angelo, Lambert developed his voice and musicianship early, learning guitar at age eight from his grandfather, a singer, songwriter and producer himself. Drawing influence from artists like John Legend, Amos Lee, Kacey Musgraves and Leon Bridges, Lambert’s debut releases with Big Loud Texas, “Shoot Me Down,” “Rules of Attraction” and “You Make Sense To Me,” serve as a statement of artistic intent. Currently embarking on headlining dates, Lambert will join Billy Currington and Kip Moore on tour later this year.

A dynamic live act, she will support Darius Rucker on his Songs of Summer Tour this year along with various festivals. A proud member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2022, Alaina has earned three No. 1 hits: Platinum-certified “Road Less Traveled,” the 4x Platinum “ONE BEER” with HARDY and Devin Dawson, and Diamond-certified “What Ifs” with Kane Brown. With “What Ifs,” Alaina became the only solo female Country artist in history to receive the RIAA’s Diamond song certification. The vocalist has performed on some of the highest-profile stages in the world including PBS’ A Capitol Fourth, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, CBS’ Beyond The Edge, ABC’s The Bachelorette, TODAY, Good Morning America, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, ABC’s CMA Fest specials, CMA and ACM Awards, Nickelodeon’s All That, Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day halftime performance, MLB’s World Series national anthem performance, a performance at the White House for President Obama, and more.
