NASHVILLE, TENN. –  Following a sold-out live debut last night at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Morgan Wallen has officially announced the release of his new song, “Been By Now,” available everywhere on July 24.

“Been By Now” continues Wallen’s unmatched ability to blend deeply personal storytelling with undeniable melodies, giving fans another standout addition to his ever-growing catalog. The new song was written by Wallen alongside Charlie Handsome, John Byron, Blake Pendergrass, Rocky Block and Taylor Phillips, with production by Joey Moi.

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Breakout country artist Owen Riegling releases his new single “Men Into Boys” out today via Universal Music Canada and Big Loud Records stateside.

“Men Into Boys” was co-written by Riegling and Ryan Kennedy, produced by Oscar Charles, and recorded at Mighty Rose Sound in Franklin, Tennessee. The first single since his acclaimed sophomore album In The Feeling, “Men Into Boys”continues the coming-of-age focus in Owen’s songwriting by reflecting on the friendships he’s had along the way.

On the single, Riegling says, “The older I get, the harder it is to see the friends I grew up with as our lives continue to get busier. ‘Men Into Boys’ touches on the moments we all come back together and it feels like nothing has changed. We recite the same stories, drink the same beer and hang out in the same places. It’s like we can just transport back to the simple times together.”

The In The Feeling era has launched Owen to new heights. Making his Massey Hall and Grand Ole Opry debuts earlier this year, Riegling earned a standing ovation with his two-song set at the Opry that included the title track to his newly released album In The Feeling and break-out single “Old Dirt Roads,” which recently achieved double Platinum certification in Canada. NASHVILLE, TENN. / AUSTIN, TEXAS  – Today, GRAMMY® nominated artist-writer Waylon Payne releases a thrilling new batch of stories on Wayward, his third full-length project and first as a newly signed artist under Big Loud Texas. With half of Wayward notably being solo written, his collaborations were with some of the sharpest artistic minds in Nashville. A testament to the esteem in which he’s held by the songwriting community, collaborators include Aaron Raitiere, Ashley Monroe, Brennen Leigh, Dean Person, Matraca Berg, Miranda Lambert and more.  

Produced by Frank Liddell (Miranda Lambert, Lee Ann Womack) and Eric Masse (Parker McCollum), the 13-track project showcases a classic troubadour who’s been to the edge and back and refuses to be easily defined. Which, fittingly, is precisely how the album got its name. 

“My friend used to call me ‘Wayward’ instead of Waylon,” Payne says. “One day I looked up the definition, which is ‘difficult to control or predict because of unusual or perverse behavior.’ And I was like, ‘Oh my God, it is me.’”

Wayward features previously released “Holding On To Lonely” with the gifted multi-instrumentalist Charlie Worsham, that Billboard noted as, “vulnerable” and “introspective,” and MusicRow praised, “his voice is marvelously aching.” Additionally, Payne’s “Looking For A Feeling,” penned alongside Pam Tillis was named one of the “Best New Country Songs” by Holler, which kicks off Wayward. Payne opens up about parts of his past on Wayward. “The Roses” was written in the wake of a bad breakup and his mother’s death when he started a brief, but exciting fling. Written in real time as she processed a number of formative life experiences, ashley cooke opens up about falling in love, spiraling, searching for clarity, and coming to terms with her own self-sabotaging tendencies. But while the 15-song LP embodies an unflinching honesty, Cooke speaks her truth with equal parts sensitivity, sharp wit, and breezy irreverence — an element perfectly echoed in the album’s coastal-Country sound and ’90s-inspired aesthetic.

On social media, Cooke revealed the tracklist in the form of a custom jean jacket featuring embroidered patches inspired by the album. Made with all-star producers like the legendary Dann Huff (Dolly Parton, Taylor Swift), ashley cooke features standouts like her current Country radio hit “baby blues” — a longtime fan favorite that officially hit the airwaves on June 22 and ranked among the format’s most-added singles on Mediabase, with 70 first-week stations nationwide. Earlier this year, “baby blues” climbed to the No. 1 spot on SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown.

In the July 6 edition of Billboard‘s “Country Update,” Cooke pulled back the curtain on the making of “baby blues,” beginning with penning the song in the midst of a brutal hangover on the last day of a writers’ retreat in Alabama. The feature also delves into recording the track with Huff, who praised Cooke as “a really intuitive songwriter…She just finds a slight difference in what could normally be a somewhat cliché, or overused, type of situation. She always finds a different angle.”

Along with upcoming song drops “famous to frances” and “johnny ‘n june” on July 24, ashley cooke includes previously released tracks like “baby blues,” “the hell you are” (a fiercely cathartic anthem), “xs” (a March release that inspired Country Swag to hail Cooke as “one of the most exciting rising artists in the genre today”), and “high school sweetheart” (a self-possessed critique of someone stuck in teenage gossip mode). “Better Love Next Time” continues a summer of new music from Watkins, following May’s “Heartbreakaholic” and June’s “Convenient.” The three tracks begin to sketch the world of If I’m Being Honest, a project that finds Watkins sharpening the honest, detail-rich writing that has long set her apart.

The newly announced record follows Watkins’ 2024 debut, The Heartbroken Record, a 17-track introduction to her lyrical truth-telling and old-school instincts, and 2025’s In A Perfect World, a 10-song collection that found the Nashville native evolving as the idea of home came into focus. Where her debut leaned into heartbreak with a rebel edge, In A Perfect World captured a season of growth and self-discovery. On If I’m Being Honest, Watkins will carry both sides forward, pairing the bite of her earliest writing with a more plainspoken look at where life has taken her since.

NASHVILLE, TENN. – Today, singer-songwriter Alex Lambert bears his heart on “Think I’m In Love,” a gorgeous convergence of country, soul and timeless R&B. Lambert teased the song from a porch step with his band, generating organic demand for the gorgeous new song.

Soul-country singer-songwriter Alex Lambert is a Fort Worth-bred artist whose music is defined by country storytelling and timeless soul. NASHVILLE, TENN. – Announced today, Jordan Merrigan has signed a publishing deal with ERN’s Cadillac Music via Big Loud Publishing. Before landing his deal, Merrigan was on the road as a guitarist and tour manager for the likes of Dylan Schneider and Mason Ramsey and is currently still on the road with ERNEST.

“I’ve been in the Cadillac Music/Big Loud universe as a touring musician for years and it’s always been apparent that they embraced artists and writers in a special way,” shares Merrigan. “I’ve been especially fortunate to experience that working with ERNEST. His belief in me as a songwriter is something I’m beyond grateful for. I couldn’t be more excited to join the family as a songwriter.”
